As we analyze and implement digital tools to improve the student experience, we strive to apply a human-centered, empathetic approach toward our designs. SSEI has formed a team dedicated to Student Engagement. Our goal is not only to gather input on digital initiatives (such as the myJH redesign and the eventual shared services organization website), but more broadly speaking, to ask students how they feel about our ideas and concepts before, during, and after we design them.
Our immediate priorities involve researching how we might make better use of digital tools to help Johns Hopkins learners navigate administrative services more easily. To that end, we are recruiting students to assist with the Digital Experience Input Project.
