As we analyze and implement digital tools to improve the student experience, we strive to apply a human-centered, empathetic approach toward our designs. SSEI has formed a team dedicated to Student Engagement. Our goal is not only to gather input on digital initiatives and tools, but to really understand how students feel about ideas and concepts throughout the design and implementation process.
Our immediate priorities involve researching how we might make better use of digital tools to help Johns Hopkins learners navigate administrative services more easily. To that end, we have created a pool of student contacts who have expressed interest in participating in user interviews as well as multi-day design sessions.
