Johns Hopkins University’s Export Control & Facility Security Office develops, implements, monitors and documents practices that promote compliance with US export control regulations and the National Industrial Security Program.
The office’s core functions include:
- reviewing subject matter, transactions, personnel and countries associated with Johns Hopkins University’s educational, research and service activities;
- determining whether licenses will be needed to complete those activities;
- facilitating the structuring and/or licensing of Johns Hopkins University activities so that they are authorized by US law/regulation; and
- promoting informed, collaborative compliance within the Johns Hopkins University community.
