Jennifer “Jenny” Eddinger oversees the Career Services Office at the Johns Hopkins University School of Education (SOE) where she works with graduate students in the Education, Counseling and Public Safety Leadership programs. Jenny also handles SOE’s Student Disability Services and is Assistant Director in the SOE Office of Student Affairs. Her professional background includes serving as a career counselor and academic advisor at several other higher educational institutions in the Maryland region for over eight years. Jenny holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Johns Hopkins University. Her professional memberships include the Maryland Career Development Association, Mid-Atlantic Career Counseling Association, Chi Sigma Iota (honor society for counselors) and NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education). A native of Baltimore, Jenny is active in the community serving as an advisory board member and mentor for several non-profit organizations providing educational, vocational and recreational resources to disadvantaged youth. Prior to a career in counseling, Jenny worked as a marketing communications professional in the private sector.
