Amy Carmack, Executive Director of Student Affairs, KSAS Advanced Academic Programs

Dr. Amy L. Carmack is a mission-driven, student-centered educator, who has worked in higher education and student affairs for over a decade, working with teams in academic advising, administration, student success, program development, academic affairs, and first-year programs. Prior to moving into higher education, she worked at the Department of Veterans Affairs National Center for Patient Safety.

Amy is passionate about organizational change, communication, student success, and using the improvement sciences to advance the student experience in higher education. Dr. Carmack has a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Truman State University, a master’s degree in Communication Studies from Eastern Michigan University, a master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Missouri State University, and a doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California.
