Danielle Simms is the Senior Administrative Coordinator to Farouk Dey, Vice Provost for Integrative Learning and Life Design. Danielle has been a member of the JHU community since 2010 with previous positions in the School of Nursing, the Peabody Conservatory, and most recently as the Administrative Coordinator for the Homewood Career Center. In her role at the Career Center, Danielle provided high-level administrative support to the Director, managed the operating and gift budgets for the office, and provided HR assistance for staff and student employees. Preceding her career in higher education Danielle aided in policy and research at the U.S. Commission for International Religious Freedom (USCIRF). Danielle earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico in European Studies & Political Sciences and studied International Relations/Russian Language as part of the Graduate Research Certificate Program at the University of Moscow.
