Heather Andersen

Senior Program Manager

Heather Andersen is the Senior Program Manager for the Office of Faculty Affairs in the Office of the Provost. In this role, she works collaboratively with the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs (VPFA) to oversee the development, strategic planning, and implementation of faculty affairs initiatives that aim to increase interdivisional collaboration and support the individual excellence of Johns Hopkins faculty members, while ensuring business continuity for the office.

She joined the Provost’s Office staff as the Dual Career Specialist in October 2018. In that position, Heather implemented the vision of university leadership to create and deliver a suite of offerings and programs that support dual-career couples across the university. She supported the recruitment and retention of Johns Hopkins faculty and executive staff by providing career resources and employment services to their spouses and partners.

Heather came to the Office of Faculty Affairs from Human Resources, where she served as a Talent Acquisition Consultant from June 2016 to October 2018.
