Jun joined the Provost’s office in April 2024 as the Director of the Instructional Design Leadership, Advancement, and Development (L.A.D.) Academy. In this role, he collaborates with various teams to design and support online instructional and educational programs and resources for the L.A.D Academy.
Prior to this role, Jun served as the Assistant Director of Instructional Design and Technology at the Carey Business School, where he led the Instructional Design and Development team to design and support new online courses, deliver diverse training opportunities and workshops. His focus was on implementing effective pedagogical and andragogical techniques, as well as innovative curriculum designs.
Jun received his Ph.D. in Learning Design and Technology from Purdue University. His passion lies in initiating and managing new programs, applying innovative instructional technologies in teaching and learning, and providing consulting and training to faculty. He is particularly interested in micro-learning, game-based learning, and the application of Generative AI tools in higher education.
