Darcy Fastner is joining the Academic Affairs & Innovation team as a Business Solution Analyst for Non-Degree/Non-Credit and Microcredentials. Darcy comes to Johns Hopkins from the University of Minnesota, where she’s spent over 12 years building impressive expertise in higher education technology, financial operations, and stakeholder collaboration. She brings deep hands-on experience with Modern Campus Lifelong Learning Extended Education (LLLEE). Darcy’s experience makes her uniquely positioned to help us optimize the ND&NC technology platforms and support lifelong learning across all JHU schools. Darcy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies/Political Science and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership, Policy and Development in Higher Education from the University of Minnesota.
What truly stands out about Darcy is her collaborative spirit and ability to translate technical complexity into clear, actionable guidance for diverse audiences. She has been recognized with awards like Supervisor of the Year and has led high-impact initiatives that center equity and student access. Darcy, a proud resident of south Minneapolis, will be joining the Provost Office remotely from Minnesota where she resides with her family.
