Noemí Crespo Rice

Dr. Noemí Crespo Rice serves as the Associate Vice Provost for Enrollment Services at Johns Hopkins University, where she leads the Office of Student Enrollment and Account Management (SEAM). Under her leadership, SEAM has become a centralized, modernized, and integrated student services organization dedicated to simplifying and improving the service experience for students across financial aid, student accounts, and registration functions. Guided by a deep commitment to access and student-centered innovation, Noemí champions initiatives that ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive in their academic journey.

Since joining Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in 2006 as Director of Financial Aid, Noemí has centered her work on delivering excellence in student services. She was appointed Chief Student Affairs Officer in 2014, where she founded and developed SAIS’s first Student Services Center—an innovative, student-centered hub that transformed the delivery of services across the school’s three global campuses. In 2016, she became Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at SAIS, overseeing a broad portfolio of student affairs functions and advancing initiatives that elevated the overall student experience.

Before joining Johns Hopkins, she served as Director of Financial Aid Services for the University of Connecticut’s Schools of Medicine, Dental Medicine, and Social Work.

Noemí holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Connecticut, a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from The George Washington University, and a Doctorate in Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania.
