1) Encourage Active and Collaborative Learning – The design contributes to students’ active engagement with their peers and the content.

2) Promote Student and Faculty Interaction – The design facilitates exchanges between faculty and students and provides instructors with the flexibility to choose their preferred teaching methods.

3) Create Enriching Educational Experience – The design promotes continuous learning both inside and outside the classroom and infrastructure is in place to support various modes of communication.

4) Provide Supportive Environments – The design supports universal design for learning principles and fosters an equitable and sustainable learning environment.
