As the chief academic officer, Provost Ray Jayawardhana works in partnership with President Ronald J. Daniels to continue to strengthen one of the world’s most prestigious universities.
Mission
The Office of the Provost advances the mission of Johns Hopkins’s diverse community by:
- Identifying and facilitating initiatives that transcend divisional boundaries.
- Coordinating and strengthening university policies and procedures.
- Supporting research, education and the student experience.
Ten for One
The Office of the Provost supports the President’s vision set forth in the Ten for One goals announced in September 2023. This strategic framework sets out ten new goals for Johns Hopkins University through 2030 under four organizing pillars: One University, Individual and Collective Excellence, Knowledge and Impact, and Community Partnership and Economic Opportunity for Baltimore and the other communities of which we are a part. We look forward with great anticipation to all that lies ahead and all that we will achieve together—as One University.
