The mission of the Johns Hopkins University Office of Academic Affairs is to support the planning, review, approval, and operations of academic programs. Working closely with each of the nine schools and other university partners, the office sponsors initiatives, policies, procedures, and operations that ensure all Johns Hopkins programs, traditional and online, maintain rigorous and compliant standards of excellence while promoting innovation in teaching and learning.
The Johns Hopkins University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and is authorized by the Maryland Higher Education Commission.
The Digital Initiatives effort facilitates collaboration, learning, and innovation across schools and units advancing Johns Hopkins online and digital education strategies and pursuits.
The Office of International Services (OIS) provides immigration, visa, and travel guidance to the Johns Hopkins University international community in every school.
