Andre Grajeda

Senior Program Coordinator

Andre Grajeda is a Senior Program Coordinator for the Vivien Thomas Scholars Initiative and assists Damani Piggott, Associate Vice Provost for Graduate Diversity and Partnerships. His role includes scheduling and managing calendars, supporting pathways and graduate education program development, and implementing and sustaining operations for the initiative. Andre has a BA in Public History from St. Mary’s University, an HSI in San Antonio, Texas, and has worked in enrollment management in undergraduate and graduate admissions.

In Andre’s free time, he enjoys volunteering with student groups to provide safe and supportive spaces for diverse scholars in higher education, trying new restaurants, and is most likely picking up scraps from toys destroyed by his dog Canela.
