Paul Hutchinson is the Assistant Director of Career Services for the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. In this role, he directs a wide variety of career development workshops, seminars, webinars, and other events throughout the academic year. This includes “Access to Experts” panels which connects students with alumni working in various fields within public health. He also manages the student business card service, helps organizes the annual Public Health Career Fair, and oversees JHSPHConnect, the online career management system. In addition, Paul provides career counseling to both master’s and doctoral level students. Paul is quite knowledgeable about public health careers and how to effectively navigate the application and interview process. In his almost 18 years at Johns Hopkins University, Paul has worked as a support services assistant, a program coordinator and an academic advisor. He holds a Master of Science in Organizational Counseling from Johns Hopkins School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park.
