Jasmine Johnson is the Associate Director, Finance and Operations for the Vivien Thomas Scholars Initiative (VTSI). Jasmine is responsible for the overall fiscal and budgetary management for VTSI program activities. Jasmine manages data, VTSI administrative operations, and reporting activities for the initiative. She also provides financial and administrative management of external partnership agreements made under this initiative. Jasmine earned her BS in Finance from Morgan State University, an HBCU in Baltimore, Maryland.
Jasmine previously served as Financial Project Manager in the School of Medicine’s Office of Graduate Biomedical Education. In this role, she managed a variety of financial analysis, reporting, and processing activities. Past projects have included delineating costs of graduate biomedical education, developing business plans for new initiatives, creating tools and processes to support data drive decision-making, and developing financial models and projecting the financial impact of new or evolving programs.
