Joy Saunders is the Manager of Systems and Digital Experience for the Office of Integrative Learning and Life Design. Prior to this position Joy served as the Senior Business Analyst for the Student Service Excellence Initiative (SSEI) for Johns Hopkins. She has nearly 20 years of experience working within the university in human resources, grants and budget administration, and facilities management. As Senior Business Analyst for SSEI Joy worked closely with career service directors and staff regarding their information systems and in August 2018 she implemented Handshake, the university-wide career services platform. In her present role as Manager of Systems and Digital Experience Joy works with wide-ranging departments and staff across all nine campuses to oversee their student engaging systems including, but are not limited to, Handshake (the university’s career services platform), PeopleGrove (the university’s alumni mentoring platform), and the university’s employer engagement platform.
Joy holds a Master’s degree in Applied Information Technology and is certified as a Project Management and a Comptia Security+ Professional.
