The Johns Hopkins University Senior Faculty Transition Program is a voluntary, limited, one-time incentive program being offered by participating JHU Schools to eligible full-time tenured faculty. Faculty who elect to participate in the Transition Program will receive a financial incentive package designed to facilitate and support their transition from employment with the University.

In addition to financial incentives, participants will be eligible for membership in the Academy at Johns Hopkins, which supports the continued research, teaching and service of retired faculty. The university is committed to developing a new location and expanded programming for the Homewood Academy of retired faculty members at the Milton S. Eisenhower Library, as a complement to the East Baltimore Academy Facility in the William H. Welch Medical Library. More information about the Homewood Academy will be announced soon.
