Danielle Simms is the Executive Assistant to Farouk Dey, Vice Provost for Integrative Learning and Life Design and Senior Operations Manager of ILLD. Danielle has been a member of the JHU community since 2010 with previous positions in the School of Nursing, the Peabody Conservatory, and most recently as the Administrative Coordinator for the Homewood Career Center. In her role at the Career Center, Danielle provided high-level administrative support to the Executive Director, managed the operating and gift budgets for the office, and provided HR assistance for staff and student employees. Preceding her career in higher education Danielle aided in the policy and research efforts at the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF). Danielle earned her bachelor’s degree in European Studies & Political Sciences from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and studied International Relations/Russian Language as a part of the Graduate Research Program at the University of Moscow.
