James “Jim” Aumiller is the Executive Director of the SSEI. He is also the Senior Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives for the Whiting School of Engineering (WSE). Prior to 2017, he served as the Senior Associate Dean of Finance and Administration for WSE. He also served as Project Manager of the Finance and Sponsored Team during the implementation of the SAP ERP software system at JHU. Before working at JHU, Jim served as the Assistant Treasurer for Student Accounts and Government Grants and Contracts at the Catholic University of America. He is a member of the National Association of College & University Business Officers (NACUBO), as well as a member of the National Association of College & University Research Administrators (NCURA).
